Also the jump sound is there and it is a copy of the origninal dizzy jump sound, but not very loud. But like the original i never put in a sound for when you collect a cherry. I will proberbly restore the original dizzyage jump noise on a future update/release if and when there is an update to the dizzyage engine. :v2_dizzy_wink2:

the only slight differences i noticed were to do with how dizzy interacts with some platforms.

i realise however that getting them the same as the original would be almost impossible due to the difference in the game engines.

all in all, it's a pretty damn accurate re-make!

I've updated the download, and added/adjusted the following in the game...

- Added my energy bar hack, now it imitates the original much better, sounds and all :v2_dizzy_wink:
- Updated dizzys jump sound as the original was rather quite
- Added dizzys jump landing sound
- Moved a few torches that were harming dizzy when they shouldn't off.

hopefully now the game shouldn't need any more work doing on it.

Good game but I can only find 19 of the 20 cherries. I've searched for walkthroughs and info on the web and the cherries seem to be in different places in those examples - their positions are all the same but differ from this remake of the game. Any suggestions where the cherries may be?

You tried the cloud underneath Heaven? It's a bit trickier to get compared to how I get it on the original

I just played it and found a bit of a bug. After crossing the river without the gold nugget i got kicked into the water. But when I came back to life i was overlapping the boat owner again and got auto kicked into the water. So getting caught once basically causes a game over.

v2.0 is now live on yolkfolk.

This update sees the game upgraded to dizzyage 2.4, and the issue as logged by AndyUK has been fixed.
