I was wondering, has anyone come across any newer games that are similar to Dizzy - i.e. you walk around a landscape, picking things up, and using them to solve puzzles? I can't think of any, but I'm not all that into newer games.
It seems odd if there aren't!

Thanks - I'll check those out. Is that the same Giddy who had a spectrum game? Guy with big hands, I think..?
I try not to self-promote too much, but Clover - A Curious Tale will be out on PC soon; we're just in the testing stages at the moment.
Like Dizzy, with no death or health, and a political theme. Side quest (not gold coins!) and multiple endings too.
Check the links in my sig for more info. It's being published by Blitz Games Studios, which is owned by the Oliver twins.

Wibble World Giddy was a sort of parody of games like Dizzy and Seymour. But I think the Fantasy World Dizzy music fit that game even better than it fit Fantasy World Dizzy.
Tombi for the PS, about twelve years ago.
Quiet, Please! is a cute and simple puzzle game. It's quite minimalist, but has some very good qualities: http://www.nostaticsoftware.com/2012/04/quiet-please-released-on-xbox-indie.html
The very small map means there's no endless walking around, and the lack of dialogue means there's comparatively few puzzles set up by narrative.

I had a chance to play Spud's Quest once, really enjoyable game, I should say!
Looks similar to Dizzy.
