Hey guys. I first played Dizzy back when my mum got me Fantastic Dizzy for the Master System when I was a toddler, I'm a lot older now of course, and I recently did a retrospective review on the game.
I was talking to a friend of mine who has played Treasure Island Dizzy, Spellbound Dizzy, Crystal Kingdom Dizzy, the lot, about my review and he said that I should post a link here and see what you guys think of it.

Thanks for the welcome guys =)
@Meph: That would be quite a clever ploy for a bot =P
Perhaps this bot got struck bu lighting and is now alive?

Hi! Enjoyed the video review and the comparisons between the versions. I disagree with a few points, of course, but then whoever agrees with anything 100% of the time? :v2_dizzy_happy:

I wonder - are there any members who go by the name Johnny5?

Can I ask what you disagreed with, just out of interest?
A friend of mine who's a Dizzy fan recently told me a few points he didn't agree on and it'd be interesting to see if they were the same points.

Yes of course! The only two points are that I don't think the game is too confusing for first time Dizzy players. I think if approached just as a new platform adventure game anyone would find it ok. The other point was I don't think it's too easy to die. That was all :)

Oh, OK. When I was replaying the game for the review, my girlfriend was sat behind me saying she'd have no idea what she was suppsoed to be doing and a couple of friends who came round that week had the same opinion. Then again, many years ago when I was but a small child I could figure it out so maybe you have a point there =)
The easy to die part is really aimed at just those rats in the tunnels. Seriously, either I'm terrible at dodging them or it's just damned unfair XD
My friend Tony, the Dizzy fan I mentioned was diagreeing with me saying that only being able to carry three items made the game more challenging and you had to think ahead. My counter argument was that it added needless and annoying backtracking and you had to be psychic to know what items you were going to need to keep with you if you'd never played the game before. Seems Tony's the only one who thinks that way so far though XD
