Hey guys, I recently posted a retrospective review on Fantastic Dizzy on YouTube. I orignally played the Master System version when I was a toddler and I figured I'd take a look back at it.
At any rate, I showed the review to a friend of mine who then revealed he'd played all of the Dizzys, Spellbound, Crystal Kingdom, etc, where I've only played Fantastic Dizzy. He said I should show you guys the review and see what you think of it.

welcome to the forum!
Wow thats a great review :) Probably the best fan review of any Dizzy game Ive ever seen - i love the cheesy music at the end.
I used to love the old Master system too. Im sure others here did too as this forum also has lots of retro game lovers. I look forward to seeing any more dizzy or Sega MS related vids, you may make in the future.
Great stuff
Thanks :v2_dizzy_clapping:
Nice review  Fantastic Dizzy is no doubt a great game. I've only ever beaten the Megadrive version.
I could never understand why game cartridges by Codemasters were a strange shape, I also remember the Megadrive cartridges by EA were tall and had this yellow tab thing attached to it. :v2_dizzy_confused2:
The tunnels in Keldor was where I mostly ended up losing my lives, It's just trying to avoid touching the rats that go all over the place.

EA and Codies both manufactured their own carts - Codies had a separate warehousey building on the farm just for production and fulfilment. I expect the different-shaped carts were for branding purposes, and maybe also they were marginally cheaper. I dare say the EA carts were bigger so they could use larger, older, cheaper components.
